Clashes between South Sudanese militants and rebel forces began in July 2016, and have turned into a tribal war leading to conflict and bloodshed between tribes in every region. There is no end to the burning down of homes, murders of families, and sexual violence. Refugees have flooded into neighboring countries, with more than 590,000 people entering Uganda after summer. 250,000 people arrived in Bidibidi, north of Uganda, recording the second biggest influx of refugees after Dadaab, Kenya, site of Africa’s largest refugee camp.

These refugees have fled from unimaginable suffering. They have lived in hiding among bushes for months to flee from war and murder.  Some were siblings who fled without their parents, some were mothers who lost their child on their way, and some were refugees who had their families killed. Many times, it is the weak, such as women, children and the elderly, who end up becoming victims of war. 201612/23
