Portrait of Rivka Schiller (11) in her house. She has two twin sisters. Her mother Adriana  was victim of many death threats by her ex husband Gustavo Melnec. She had filed 45 complaints to the police withouth getting any protection from them. Gustavo is a bus driver and he works frequently in the neighboor where Adriana live. He beated her many times and on the march,24, 2016 after a discussion He attempted to strangle her in front of the girls. She lives in a kind of prison always scared to meet him. Women belonging to the movement Mumala (mujeres de la matria latinoamericana) demonstrate before starting the Ni Una Menos march with a mask and a name of a victim killed in the previous months in front of the National women's department of the government (consejo nacional de las mujeres). Ni una menos Is a protest movement against violence towards women that often ends in death. It was first manifested in eighty cities of Argentina on June 3, 2015, repeating itself in 2016, on June 3, October 19, November 25 and in 2017, March 8 (the historical international women's strike) and June 3. In 2016 In Argentina a woman was killed every 30 hours. From January 2017, the situation deteriorated further: today a woman is killed every 18 hours. The movement has also spread to other countries in the region as Uruguay, Chile, Per?, Mexico and in Europe. Coordinated from this movement, the strike was organized also in other 46 countries. Millions of women marched all over the worls to claim their rights and to protest against the violence they suffered. Buenos Aires, Argentina. June 3, 2017

An horse in the middle of the street. Barrio Tonguy is one of the many Villa Miserias of the Argentinian capital. Tonguy is located in the extreme south west province of Buenos Aires. It was a swamp that was occupied by people who had no home. To drain the swamp on their own people have begun to bury garbage and waste of any kind without being aware of the pollution and health problems that this would cause. People live in poor condition, criminality is very high and the youngster are in danger. In these places gender violence is widespread. Often young girls leave the family home in which they suffer domestic violence for a love affair with people belonging to gangs who introduce them to the world of the drug or prostitution. frequently girls between 13 and 16 get pregnant. Belen Torres (20) seated in the garage of her family house. Belen was one of the victims of the "anesthetist". This is the name given to Gerardo Ismael Biliris because of his profession and his way to torture his victims. Belen was looking for a job and on December,28,2016 she started working as Gerardo's secretary in Palermo, one of the richest barrio of the city. On January,31 she was working in his apartment, he came back home after a meeting with a friend and he started to smoke crack. In a few moments he started to punched her trying to kill her. She was saved thanks to the intervention of a neighbor who founded her in a lake of blood and he drove her to the hospital. Doctors found drugs and sedatives in the blood of Belen. After the imprisonment of Gerardo, the police discovered that he abused of many girls. He used to give mix of drugs and sedatives to his victims to abuse them also with friends. Belen has suffered a fracture in the shoulder, in the jaw and she doesn't hear from one ear because he stucked a glass in her ear. La Tablada, Buenos Aires, Argentina.   March 16, 2017

Natalia Jimenez (26) in front of the enrance of her sister's home. She left her partner because she was a victim of violence. For this reason she moved to her mother's house, a shack where she lives with her four sons and her brothers. The shack has no running water and for long periods of the day not even has electricity. Margarita Meira,leader of MADRES VICTIMAS DE TRATA, an association of mothers who lost their daughters kidnapped and sold to be sex slaves.Phenomenon sadly current in Argentina.Her daughter Susana Graciela Becker disappeared in 1991 and was found dead in 1992 in an apartment killed with gas.She was17.Kidnapped and sold by her boyfriend, a drug dealer.Margarita found the association in 1992with14 mothers.In Buenos Aires there are1500 brothels,40000 in the country. They all suffered gender violence and they are all members of COOPERATIVA MIKA, an association of women who fight against the gender violence in Villa 21 found after the killing of Micaela Gaona. They organize frequently make up and hair dressing courses in which they talk about gender violence. Villa 21 is located in barrio Barracas, in the south part of Buenos Aires City. It usually appears in TV and local media mentioned to be the ?most dangerous slum of Buenos Aires?. It is a neighbourhood of 45.000 inhabitants, cornered by the Riachuelo, the dirty river that separates the City of Buenos Aires from the suburbs. With 270 murders in the last 5 years, mainly related to the  quotidien presence of Paco (a drug  consumed mostly by poor children), the neighbourhood is always involved in police chronicles. Carla Antonella Canteros (26) is crying after a domestic fight with her boyfriend who punched her. Carla is mother of 5 children: Agustina (8) from a first relationship and Veronica (6,who lives in Cordoba with the sister of her ex boyfriend), Candela (5), Mia (4) and Milo (18 months) from a second relationship. She raised up with the grandparents after the premature loss of the parents. After few years she loss also the grandparents and she remained alone, homeless, without money. She always depended on her boyfriend and the second was terribly violent: she was continually harassed and beaten even when she was pregnant. with the help of the COOPERATIVA MIKA's women who have hosted her at their homes, she left him and now she is part of the cooperative. Unfortunately the problems are starting even with the new boyfriend. She also have one sister and one brother but she doesn't have any relationship with them. The reason why she doesn't have relationships with her sister is because she is forced in her home by her alcoholic and violent boyfriend. Her life was a kind of hell.
